Tu Kohatu

Name: Tu Kohatu.
Goal: Stacking rocks and stones on a pile as high as you can with out them falling.

I have never played this game before but it sounds a little  bit like jenga. I have played jenga at a friends house.

  1. Hey James,

This is Jade C from the Summer Learning Journey team. It's great to see that you've been actively going through the SLJ activities even in the weekend. You are an amazing blogger! :)

I have never heard of or played that game before, but I think I will be able to play it really easily as it sounds like a very simple game. Yes, you are right. It does sound a little bit like 'Jenga' and I've also played it multifarious times at church camps and on family fun nights.

Do you have your all-time favourite board game? I like to play monopoly. Time flies so quickly when I play it with my friends!

I would love to read more of your blog this week :)

    All the best,
    Jade C.

    1. The game of life you can choose which way you want to go there is collage or career and you get to choose your job and if you choose collage you get more money and if you choose career you get paid lees.

  2. Kia Ora James,

My name is Georgia and I am the cluster manager for the Kaikohekohe (Northland) cluster. For the next few days, I'll be commenting on students blogs from Uru Manuka and I am very excited to see the work you all have been doing this summer.

Tu Kohatu sounds like a fun game! I haven't heard of it before now either, but it would be fun to try out. I enjoy playing jenga and like you said, they're quite similar.

Do you have other games that you enjoy playing over summer? My family and I love playing card games when we go camping. My favourites are Phase 10 and Uno.

Great work on this activity, I look forward to reading more of your blog posts.
