Hi there James,
ReplyDeleteJade F here from the Summer Learning Journey team! Great effort on completing another activity.
That's amazing that there is a song version of the haka! Do you think you could add in a link of the song so your blog readers can listen to the waiata? I would be keen to listen!
My favourite waiata would be a song called Hutia Te Rito which is a beautiful waiata. Here is a link to the song if you would like to have a listen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxmTDHDe8k8
Let me know what you think :)
I looking forward to hearing from you and reading more of your blog posts!
Cheers,
Jade F :)
Hey James,
ReplyDeleteThis is Jade C from the Summer Learning Journey blogging team. It's awesome to be back to read and comment on your blog post!
I've never heard of the song 'Haka' but I would love to have a listen to see what it's like! Like Jade F has mentioned before, it would've been nice if you could find a link for us to have a listen to :)
My favourite Waiata is Pokarekare ana! Have you ever listened to that song before? I like it because the melody is sweet and very easy to sing along because it's not that high and complicated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DANPs-YjFdk Here is the link to the song! I hope you like it!
All the best,
Jade C.
