Colors of cars on Carmen Road

Today i'm showing you my pie chart that I made with spreadsheets.

To get this data we went outside and walked to the gates, over the gates were Carmen road. Our teacher told us to get a buddy and count the color of cars and put them on our sheet in tally form. This is the data that we got. The picture tells us that blue is 18.5% and white is 25.2 and so on. To create this pie chart we went onto a spreadsheet and put the tally down then highlight the data (except the total), after that go click on insert at the top of the spreadsheet, then it will say chart click on chart and then you can pick your chart style add labels, change title, change the colors of the chart and much more.

The hardest part about making the chart that it was confusing because it was hard to get used to using it and know how to use it.

The easy part was that it was fun to make because you could change the color of the chart and do all sorts of things with it.

Pie Charts

This week we have been talking about "Pie Charts"

Pie charts are to gather percentages and then to put them into the Pie chart. To gather the information and put it into percentages is, to write the key down and what the keys information is about.
Exg. red is 50% and blue is 25% and then green is 25% 25 + 25 % = 50 combined and red is just 50%, so in those colors you right your percentage and in like a normal chart you need your labels and title.

The hardest  part about this activity was figuring out how to add the percentages, and learning something new.

The easy part was having fun learning something new and it was fun adding the percentages
