The Waka

One day I went on a voyage the waves were ruff. I carried on  to New Zealand. I was brave but also scared then  I see an island and all that I could see is New Zealand and Waka's all around the ocean.      And Paddled to New Zealand and finally made it. All of my friends were there and they were              cheering that I made it and after that we had a hangi it was steaming hot. then I had a splash in the          ocean.

    Good to see you complete another task! Great effort! I liked how you described the surroundings in your letter, I especially liked how you describe how rough the waves were! How did you feel when you saw your friends when you arrived in the new land? How do you think your friends felt when you arrived? Let me know in a comment!

    When I saw my friends I was very happy and glad to see them and my friends felt relieved that I arrived to the new land safe.

      Great response James, I'd be very happy to see my friends after a long journey too. I would also be very happy to be standing on land after a long time at sea!
