This Is my multiplication post about starigies...
On our working from home site I went on my maths activities and saw Mental - Multiplication Strategies and Multiplication facts. The first task that popped up was strategys on how to double the numbers that were given to us. I had to draw a wheel and in the middle of the wheel I put what the number I was x (timesing it by).
The hardest part about this activity was figuring out what the double was and getting the hang of the strategy I used. The easy part was that it was cool to learn a new strategy to double and halve.
Here is a picture to show what I did with the doubling
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Hi James
ReplyDeleteWell done for completing this challenge. You seem to have mastered the strategy, and I am pleased that you saw that it was cool to learn a new strategy.
