Dive

Dive on Biteable.
This story was about a girl who was swimming and lost her phone. As she was searching a sea snake wriggles bye. This story was from the reading journal grid and it was a easy story. I picked this story because It looked interesting and it was about swiming and rivers.

After we read the story we got to pick a task from the grid I chosse biteable, I havent used biteable in a longtime because I usually use google docs because it is much easier.

The hard part about it was making the biteable because it took long to get it sorted and that.

The easy part was reading the story because it was about swiming and rivers, I can relate to it because I like swimming in rivers.

Adding Decimals With Hundreths

Yesterday I done some maths, you click on a video and it shows you how to add decimals with hundredths. I learnt 2 new strategies of this video, one of the strategy that I learnt was adding the decimals and splitting them up and then add them up.

The hard part about this was the split strategy because it was one of the hard strategies to learn.

The easy part was the strategy when you add them up because i'm good at pluse's and carrying the number.

Here is a picture of the workings and the link to the video

After we read one we had to pick a task from the grid that relates to the story, there was a drawing task, a beat maker task and a lot more.

Maths Post

For the past few week I have been doing maths. Which includes Division, rounding tens, addition and subtraction. I put all of my working out in my book to record what i've done.

The hard part was learning new strategies because they were new to me and some were a bit hard to figure out.

The easy part was that it was fun, it was fun to learn new strategies to use for my maths problems.

Here are a few pictures of my workings....

Mental - Multiplication Strategies and Doubling Numbers

Date 25/03/2020

This Is my multiplication post about starigies...

On our working from home site I went on my maths activities and saw Mental - Multiplication Strategies and Multiplication facts. The first task that popped up was  strategys on how to double the numbers that were given to us. I had to draw a wheel and in the middle of the wheel I put what the number I was x (timesing it by).

The hardest part about this activity was figuring out what the double was and getting the hang of the strategy I used. The easy part was that it was cool to learn a new strategy to double and halve.

Here is a picture to show what I did with the doubling
